How It Works

Lagoon Bet Casino is a social sweepstakes casino operated by Undercurrent Holdings LLC. Eligible residents of participating states who are at least 21 can play casino-style games using two separate virtual currencies: Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC).

GC are for entertainment play and cannot be redeemed for prizes. SC are promotional sweepstakes entries that can be used in eligible games and may qualify for prize redemption when you meet the applicable requirements. Gameplay is intended for entertainment, and outcomes are never guaranteed.

Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins: What’s the Difference?

Gold Coins let you try games such as slots, blackjack, roulette, and dice without playing for redeemable prizes. You can receive 50,000 GC when you activate your account, and eligible players may claim an entertainment balance refill if their combined Gold Coin wallet and vault balance falls below 10 GC.

Sweeps Coins work differently. They are promotional entries, not a currency sold on its own. You may receive SC through free rewards, qualifying promotions, a no-purchase entry method, or as a complimentary addition to certain Gold Coin packages. SC can be used in eligible games, and qualifying play may make them eligible for redemption.

Keep the currencies separate when choosing a game: GC play is for fun, while SC play is subject to sweepstakes rules, playthrough requirements, and eligibility conditions.

Register, Verify, and Get Started

Create an account, confirm that you meet the age and location requirements, and activate your account to receive the 50,000 GC Welcome Starter. You can also claim the free daily reward of 1 SC through the daily claim flow, available every 24 hours. No purchase is necessary to claim this daily reward.

Before making a first purchase, SC play is limited to 1 SC per round. If you later request a prize redemption, LagoonBet requires identity verification, including a government-issued photo ID and proof of address. Verification is required before your first redemption request.

How Games and Sweeps Coin Play Work

Choose an available game and select the currency you want to play with. The game rules and the amount used for each round will determine how your balance changes. LagoonBet’s library includes slots, table games, casino-style originals, and multiplayer poker, including Texas Hold’em and Omaha. Some games also publish seeds and offer public tools for checking results.

Sweeps Coin playthrough requirements apply before SC can become eligible for redemption. Playthrough means completing a specified amount of eligible play; it does not guarantee a prize. SC included with standard Gold Coin packages have a 3x playthrough requirement. Promotional bonus SC generally have a 5x requirement. Game contributions vary: slots count at 100%, baccarat, blackjack, crash, and Plinko at 20%, and other casino games at 50%. Review the promotion terms and official sweepstakes rules for the requirements that apply to your balance.

Free Rewards, Promotions, and Alternative Entry

You can receive SC without buying a package. Along with the daily 1 SC reward, eligible players may use LagoonBet’s no-purchase request flow. A qualifying handwritten mail-in entry is also available for 5 SC. Each mail-in request must include the account information, declaration, and valid unique postcard code required by the official rules. One code is available every seven days, and each envelope may contain one request card. Check the current rules for the exact submission instructions and deadlines.

Other promotional opportunities may include partner codes, referrals, and community rewards. One eligible creator or partner code can be entered per account through Settings → Referrals; the listed reward is 50,000 GC and 5 SC, in addition to the Welcome Starter. Referral rewards are 5 SC for the referrer and an additional 5 SC for a qualifying friend who registers through the personal link and makes a first purchase. Qualifying Discord invites may earn 2 SC per friend. Promotional SC from these offers carry a 5x playthrough requirement.

The first eligible Gold Coin purchase may qualify for a one-time welcome offer. The $20 package awards 400,000 GC and 40 SC, the $50 package awards 1,000,000 GC and 100 SC, and the $100 package awards 2,000,000 GC and 200 SC. The SC included with the standard package have a 3x playthrough requirement, while promotional bonus SC have a 5x requirement. This purchase is optional: no purchase is necessary to participate in sweepstakes promotions. All offers are subject to their terms and conditions.

LagoonBet also lists a weekly Friday Night Freeroll with free poker entry and a 100 SC prize pool, scheduled for Fridays at 8 p.m. Central Time. At least two players must participate, and prizes follow the tournament payout schedule. Freeroll winnings have no additional playthrough requirement of their own. Check the event details for current availability and rules.

Redeeming Sweeps Coins for Prizes

Once you have met the applicable playthrough requirements, eligible SC may qualify for redemption. The minimum redemption request is 50 SC, and you can submit one request every 24 hours. Before your first request, complete identity verification and make sure your account meets the location and other eligibility conditions.

Approved redemptions are sent as cryptocurrency payouts, with processing fees applying. LagoonBet states that approved requests are sent within 1–3 business days. A request is not a guaranteed payout: it remains subject to account review, the official rules, and the applicable terms and conditions.

Think of GC as entertainment-only play and SC as promotional entries that can be used in eligible games and may qualify for prizes after all requirements are met. You can participate without making a purchase through the available free rewards and alternative entry methods. Read the official sweepstakes rules and each promotion’s terms before claiming an offer, playing with SC, or requesting a redemption.
